GETTING READY
When you envision getting ready on your wedding day with your bridesmaids, you're probably all getting your hair & makeup done, breezily sipping mimosas as the photographer snaps away while your favorite songs play on a specially curated playlist. All of this can happen in the cottage at Loblolly Rise….it is truly perfection! You're just steps away from your wedding ceremony & reception.

QUICK TIPS
A Few Wedding Morning Tips
Hang up your wedding dress & veil
One of the first things you should do when you arrive is take your wedding dress and veil out of the garment bag and hang them on the hook above our big, big… did we mention big? window. Allowing your dress to breathe and naturally relax before getting dressed can help minimize wrinkles and make for beautiful photos.
Be sure to hang your gown as high as possible and leave it unbustled. Tuck the comb of your veil inside the back of the dress and let it cascade down for that effortlessly elegant look.
Don’t forget food for your crew
There’s nothing worse than a hungry bride… except maybe six hungry bridesmaids too. Be sure to plan a variety of filling breakfast or lunch options that will keep everyone energized throughout the day without the sugar crash.
Think sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit and veggie trays, yogurt, granola bars, and other light but satisfying options. Pre-ordering from a local deli or restaurant is always a great idea and helps avoid unnecessary morning-of stress or last-minute food runs.
The morning goes by quickly, and you’ll want to spend as much time as possible together soaking it all in.
Cheers to the day ahead
Mimosas or Bellinis for your bridal party are always a fun touch — and they make for the sweetest celebratory photos. Just remember to pace yourselves! A little bubbly is fun, but staying hydrated and feeling your best is even better.
Create the perfect playlist
A good playlist can completely set the tone for the morning. Whether it’s upbeat sing-alongs, nostalgic favorites, or relaxing background music, having the right mix playing while everyone gets ready helps keep the atmosphere fun, calm, and memorable.
If you have a bridesmaid who’s known for making the best playlists, now’s her time to shine.
