WEDDING VENUE
Loblolly Rise is a beautiful Thomasville and Tallahassee wedding venue that includes ceremony areas, reception space, a bridal cottage, a groom room, a catering kitchen and more. With plenty of acreage to roam, Loblolly provides many backdrops for a stunning wedding ceremony & wedding reception.
We're a family owned wedding venue and special event venue. Loblolly Rise is located directly off Thomasville Road (HWY 319) 1 mile past the Georgia/Florida line on the Georgia side. We are 10 minutes past Target/Publix in Tallahassee and 10 minutes south of downtown Thomasville.
COCKTAILS & RECEPTION
The barn and front lawn are designed for your cocktail hour and wedding reception. The barn is white in color with black accents with over 5,000 square feet in the main area. Chandelier lighting inside, white drapes on the beams and in the ceiling, a wood burning fireplace, concrete flooring throughout, and edison lights over the front lawn for cocktail hour and/or your reception. The back addition of the barn includes a kitchen for catering, the grooms quarters, and men & women restrooms.

The barn can be used as a rehearsal dinner option as well.

Kitchen area with 3 bay sink, fridge, oven, and prepping area for caterers located in barn. Outdoor sink out back as well as plenty of space for grills or fryers if your menu calls for such.

WEDDING CEREMONY
Loblolly offers three different locations to choose from for your wedding ceremony. All 3 locations are within steps of the barn and the getting ready areas.

The Oak Tree seems to be the most popular location. An arch is provided as part of the rental price. You're welcome to decorate the arch with draping and floral accents.

The larger than usual pine tree is also an option. This location is used for those that want to bring in their own ceremony backdrop.

The pond is our third option for wedding ceremonies.
THE BRIDAL COTTAGE
There is a separate air conditioned cabin for the bride to get ready. A open area completed with white decor, mirrors, living area, king size bed, dining table, full bathroom, and kitchenette.
THE GROOMS QUARTERS
Groom & Groomsmen...We didn't forget about you! There's an air conditioned room located on the back of the barn for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. Leather couch, chairs, coffee table, mirrors, hooks for hanging clothes, and more.
